Jean Vanier: We need to create meaningful meeting between the young and the older
Jean Vanier and Laurence Freeman met recently during the John Main Seminar in France. Fr. Laurence asked Jean to reflect on “Ageing,” how he lives this time of his life (he is 88) and how he sees the world where people are living longer.
The WCCM Australia is organising the Meditation Seminar “Meditation & Ageing” on 19-20 November (more info here).
“One of the big questions of our age is the relationship between the young people and those who are ageing… to create places of very deep meaning, to meet each other,” commented Jean.
