Outreach of The World Community for Christian Meditation
Peter Ng (WCCM Executive Committee and Singapore National Coordinator) was invited recently to speak on meditation to the staff of Dymon Asia Capital in Singapore by Danny Yong (Chief Investment Officer and a founding partner of the company).
Humility in Science: A Benedictine Advice, was led by Dr Marco Schorlemmer at the Meditatio Centre in London on the 10th of November. Scientific inquiry is, at its core, deeply contemplative. Current scientific practice, however, instead of nurturing this facet is often at odds with a contemplative attitude to science. You can listen to the talks (and download them ) in the player below:
Meditation with Children: A Resource for Teachers and Parents is a helpful guide to Christian meditation for children. The book encourages adults to experience meditation for themselves and equips them with the tools to introduce the practice to children, including simple lesson plans that can be implemented at home, in the classroom or on a whole-school basis.
